On January 24th, 2013 at the Fermenting Cellar in Toronto,
more than 285 guests were welcomed with
Western hospitality by the Pembina Institute.
While Pembina has played a major role advancing renewable energy in Ontario for the past decade and has been very influential in Toronto’s transportation debates over the past 2 years, they waited until 2013 to hold their inaugural “coming-out” party in Toronto. For a group like Pembina, substance matters. And they wanted to be able to point to a track record of contributions in Ontario and Toronto before holding this sort of celebration. Pembina’s presence in Toronto and Ontario will only grow stronger in the years to come, and Toronto sure is happy to have them here!
